Ryan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a doctorate in physical therapy from Clarke University in Dubuque, IA. During his time at Clarke University, he was involved with various research projects and was a teaching assistant for both undergraduate and graduate anatomy and physiology courses. Ryan has presented original research pertaining to both biology and physical therapy at the state and national level. Most recently, he and his colleagues received special recognition from the American Physical Therapy Association for their research pertaining to sports related concussions and their long-term effect on gait and balance.
Ryan joined Frankfort and Manteno Physical Therapy in 2019. He is passionate about the field of orthopedic and sports physical therapy and has a special interest in the non-surgical management of spinal disorders and shoulder injuries. Ryan uses an eclectic approach that utilizes primarily manual therapy and graded exercise to help patients reach their goals and return to their prior level of function
Ryan is a member of both the Illinois and American Physical Therapy Association. He is also a member of the Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapy
